For Chinese New Years, we had a lovely 4 day weekend. I went to Bintan, Indonesia with a group of friends. It was only a 1 hour ferry ride from Singapore. Our hotel ended up being pretty much in the middle of no where! Howeve,we had a big group of people so we were able to entertain ourselves at the pool and played a lot of games. On the third day, we finally got some sunny weather and went to beach. It was a good 45 minute drive from our hotel, but definitely worth it!

Two Apples a Day

So glad you’ve been enjoying Indonesia! It’s ironic how I traveled twice to Singapore before having the opportunity to travel in my own adopted country–until Chinese New Year’s as well. I’m hoping to post some pix from Yogyakarta in my blog soon. Maybe a possible destination for Singaporeans later ;-D–I’m definitely planning to head back sometime.
