Slice of Life Challenge Day #14
I’m thankful for…
- The opportunity to live in Singapore and learn new things about the people and culture here.
- A classroom of 22 students who knows how to laugh, learn and love.
- The unchanging hot and rainy weather in Singapore.
- The cool breeze that comes through my balcony at night.
- Moments of laughter as I get to know my students better.
- Seeing students be able to share their reflections, growth and learning with their parents.
- Fresh salads from salad stop
- Loving and meaningful interactions between students and parents.
- Delicious lemon bars from our school cafeteria.
- Conversations with friends over free steak sandwiches.
- Being able to do what I love everyday.
What are you thankful for today?

Those bars look great! When we step back and look at our lives there are many things to be thankful for. The cool breeze surprised me, i didn’t think the word cool would ever show up in Singapore. One thing I am thankful for is I had the opportunity to visit Singapore, therefore meeting you.
Awww…..thanks Elsie! I’m thankful that I got to meet you in SIngapore as well.
I am thankful for caring friends. The love of my husband. Unconditional love of my 4-footed companions.
So much to be thankful for. I’m thankful for friends and family….and flavored creamer, puppy noses and massages.
What a great piece to make us thankful for the small things
I am grateful for no severe weather parent teacher conferences this March!
I wish our school cafeteria had yummy food like that! That’s definitely something to be thankful for!
